The S&T Amateur Radio Club is open to all amateurs, including students, faculty, and staff of MST, as well as community members.

The club was formed by students of the Missouri School of Mines and Metallurgy in 1931, and is still actively serving the community to this day.


The S&T Amateur Radio Club is a very active amateur radio organization. We participate in many activities throughout the year, including November Sweepstakes and Field Day. The club maintains assorted radio equipment for our members to use.


Our shack is located in Room G-29 of the Electrical & Computer Engineering Building (Emerson Electric Company Hall).


The S&T Amateur Radio Club is open to all students, faculty,& staff of S&T, as well as other hams from the community. Membership dues are $15.00 per year for individual memberships, or $25 per year for family memberships (as approved by the club yearly).
